Christmas Dinner 2010 :)

I'm so excited to present our menu for the night! Chose this after much thought, and to attempt a different tradition~

Here it is! Worded by our beloved Han Ee, and prepared lovingly with much help from many others...

1. Prawn, mango and avocado salad
Fresh prawn tossed with sweet mango, creamy avocado and a special formulated sauce that is sure to give your palate a treat.

2. Chargrilled pineapple
Slices of sweet pineapple chargrilled with brown sugar - a perfect prelude to the savoury goodness of the glazed ham.

3. Potato salad (Elizabeth's special)
Chunks of potato mixed with mayonaise, smokey twiggy stix and egg - a home cooked dish that is sure to make you feel closer to home.

4. Braised peas
Green peas braised with butter, leek, mint and topped with melted cheddar- a dish to tide you through the hot summer.

5. Honey, mustard glazed ham
A whole leg of ham glazed with honey, golden syrup and mustard, made fragrant with cloves, and baked to the perfect degree of festivity.

6. Stuffed turkey breast
A traditional Christmas dish - turkey stuffed with all things good and yummy, including dried cranberries, pears, walnuts, pistachios and herbed onions.

7. Trifle
A sweet dessert, complete with fresh cherries, port jelly, custard, triple chocolate cookies and lots of love to end the entire gastronomical experience with a bang! :)

Beverages / wine
*Tropical fruit punch with rosehip-frozen ice cubes
*Wolf blass varae
*Rosemount crisp chardonnay botanical with cucumber and green apple

Pictures should be out on facebook, courtesy of friends! :)

Then we played Kinex on Danielle's Xbox 360. I think we danced and played adventures till we burnt off more than what we ate!!! Awesome...

Was glad to still spend Christmas with 'family'. :)
Ho Ho Ho!!! Merry Christmas everyone~
